New game deals that already have the receipts

Most new-release pages are a firehose. Everything that came out, in order, whether anyone liked it or not. This one is the opposite, and it is smaller on purpose. A game gets in only if it launched within the last year, is discounted right now, and has already collected a serious pile of positive player feedback.

That last part is the hard bit. A game released six weeks ago has not had time to gather years of reviews, so the usual evidence bar would quietly wipe out the entire page. Instead of pretending otherwise, this collection uses its own published threshold and shows you the review count on every card. Recent is the point. Unproven is not.

How these deals qualify

A game must have released within the last 365 days, hold at least 80% positive player feedback across 500 or more reviews, pass the default eligibility rules, and earn a Deal Score of at least 55. Qualifying listings are ordered by Deal Score, with review volume breaking ties. The review floor is lower than the rest of the site on purpose, because a recent release cannot have a decade of reviews behind it.

Release dates come from available game metadata, so a title with missing data can be left out even when it is genuinely new. New releases also discount less deeply than back-catalogue games, so expect smaller percentages here.
